The Lodge & Game Room
Families come together at the end of the day to cozy up to the fireplace and share photos of the the catch of the day, or listen to the kids tell of their adventures learning to ride. With a classic western bar, game table room, and reception area for the fishing guides, it offers a chance to come together comfortably any time of the day. Maude’s Bar and Deck
Classic and authentic, Maude’s Bar pours premium liquors, small-batch spirits, and local brews, plus hand-crafted cocktails from our mixologists. It’s the favorite gathering spot for fishing tales and new friends at day’s end.
Sample Colorado favorites: a chilled Sauvignon Blanc from Ben Parsons of Infinite Monkey Theorem, Leopold Brothers Gin, Silver Tree Vodka, or a Trashy Blonde Ale from Three Barrel Brewery in the San Luis Valley.

Palmer House Recreation Room and Studio
Beyond the Lodge’s game room, the Ranch offers the Palmer House — the spot for friendly competition at ping pong, foosball, or pool. Built in the early 1900s for musical entertainment, dancing, and billiards, it’s a guest favorite during traditional weeks.
During specialty weeks, game tables give way to worktables as the Palmer House becomes an artist’s studio, offering a beautiful valley view for artists and photographers working with top educators in their fields.
