Gathering Places for Guests at our Luxury Colorado Resort

After a day of adventure in the stunning Colorado wilderness, the Lodge, Bar, and Game Room at the 4UR Ranch offer the perfect setting to relax, socialize, and make lasting memories in a luxury resort setting. Whether you’re sipping a handcrafted cocktail by the fire, challenging friends to a friendly game of pool, or simply soaking in the warm, welcoming atmosphere, this inviting space is designed for comfort and camaraderie.

The Lodge & Game Room

Families come together at the end of the day to cozy up to the fireplace and share photos of the the catch of the day, or listen to the kids tell of their adventures learning to ride. With a classic western bar, game table room, and reception area for the fishing guides, it offers a chance to come together comfortably any time of the day. Relax in comfort at our luxury Colorado resort, with western style and hospitality.

Maude’s Bar and Deck

Classic and authentic, Maude’s Bar is fully stocked with premium liquors, small batch spirits, great beers, and locally crafted brews. Our mixologists create hand crafted cocktails that will delight the senses.  Maude’s is the favorite gathering spot for fishing tales and new friends at the end of the day.

Sample Colorado favorites like a chilled Sauvignon Blanc by master winemaker Ben Parsons of Infinite Monkey Theorem, or Leopold Brothers Gin and Silver Tree Vodka distilled in Denver. Or, if you’re a fan of craft brews, try a Trashy Blonde Ale by Three Barrel Brewery from Del Norte here in the San Luis Valley.

Join us early Monday evenings for a welcoming Cocktail Party hosted by ranch managers, Aaron and Robin. Enjoy a favorite cocktail or a glass of wine while sitting around the fire on the deck outside Maude’s.

Palmer House Recreation Room and Studio

In addition to the game room in the Lodge, the Ranch also enjoys the added space of the Palmer House for fun and games. If you’re looking for a place to show your skills at ping pong, fooseball, or pool, the Palmer House is the place to meet for friendly competition. Rich in history, this building was constructed in the early 1900s as place for musical entertainment, dancing, and billiards. Today the Palmer House is a favorite of guests during our traditional weeks, but during our specialty weeks it is transformed into a beautiful artist’s studio. Then game tables are exchanged for worktables, and artists or photographers have a beautiful space overlooking valley in which to work with some of the finest educators and professionals in their fields.
